Completely Crazy Stunts

Posted by | March 13, 2010 | BAMBINOS | 17 Comments

In late September, as the summer was ending, we bought the boys this ramp. We blogged briefly about it here (click). Well, now, almost six months later, with winter ending and spring in the air, the ramp is back in action. Big time action. The stunts are completely crazy. I mean, completely crazy. I just happened to have the camera with me the other day and was able to (kind of) capture some of the crazier stunts I’ve seen yet. The photo does not do it justice. It is absolutely absurd seeing it in real life. It scares me to think of what they’ll be doing when they are 15 if they are doing this when they’re 5.

Haha, I love the look on his face! Looks like he is perhaps rethinking this stunt a little too late.

Thanks for letting me continue following along. I like the new setup.

Love the new site! Ethan, our 6 year old, just asked if he could have a playdate with Kyle and Owen. He was very disappointed to learn that we live about 3 hours away! The Easter Bunny may have to leave the candy behind this year and bring our boys a ramp instead!
    Happy Sunday!

So glad to have you back! When I saw this photo it reminded me of when David was that age and I always felt like I was one step away from a trip to the ER!

They have more bravery in their pinky finger than I do in my entire body!!! Heather and Braydon, you better buckle up, these boys are going to take you on a WILD ride đŸ˜‰

Also, THANK YOU so much for allowing me to continue following your journey. I really admire the way you parent, the fact that Heather is a working mom (I know I'll do the same– plus I minored in SOC, so, ya know, we got that whole thing goin' on ;)), and that there are three children in this world, who, without a doubt, have made, and will continue to make, this world a better place. When I become a parent, I can only hope to raise my children to have to such a sense of self-awareness and understanding of the world around them.

    Thanks again :)

I have a two year old son, this is exactly the kind of stuff I am afraid of! Funny yet frightening…

    Dear Heather and Braydon,

Thank you for inviting me. You make beautiful pictures (of your funny children) and I'm looking forward to read along with you.

He needs to be in steel toed shoes, wrapped in wrist protectors, wearing a mouth guard, and encased in protective metal mesh….oh right….boy stuff.

Yep, been there. Done that. A few broken bones, some stitches, and a whole HUGE sense of fun was developed. One word of caution – when they're big enough to drive make sure it's a clunker that doesn't agree to get up to higher speeds than 50MPH :-)

Heather, thank you for the invitation to your new beautiful blog! The crazy stunt picture scares the living crap out of me as a mom of 3 boys, ages 3, 4, and 5. So far, we've avoided the ER, and I'd really like to keep it that way. K & O are impressive, coordinated, and terrifying!

    That’s awesome!

Thank you for the invite and your boys are fearless. Kyle and Owen is becoming a household name for my 4 year old. I use your blog about locs and started to loc his hair as well, so to sit him down, I have him look at K and O getting their locs twisted :) works wonders. let them know that they are already role models to my little Evan. wish I could post his picture for them.

No way!! How on earth did he do that?! I probably don't even want to know, do I? I most certainly will not show that pic to Ro and Ree. Oh no, no, no. Hee.

How that did not end in a broken ankle I do not know!
