7:45 am, at the breakfast table, before the 3rd-to-last-day-of-school. For who-knows-what-reason they decided they wanted to have their hair in “four ponytails each” for school today.
Maybe they are just tired of the dreadlocs and want them up and out of their faces? Would you ever allow them to cut the dreadlocs off to have a regular boy haircut?
Mommy and Papi made the decision to start locs. Now it is entirely up to Kyle and Owen how long to keep them. Yes, of course, we’d allow them to cut their locs if they wanted to. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon since lately K & O freak out if I even mention trimming them. I have trimmed them several times in the past five years, but have recently promised the boys I’ll stop since their goal is to grow them so that they go all the way down their backs.
And I have to note: your comment– “Regular boy haircut”??????? Wow. Your phrasing has lots of implications. Please be careful with your language and tone on this blog.
