It is Meera’s turn to learn to read.
She’s just beginning.
I took these yesterday– exciting moments for a lazy Sunday morning.
Not sure who is prouder of the emerging reader: Meera herself, or her doting brothers.

What a proud moment. Teaching your child to read is the single greatest gift you can give her. New worlds and opportunities are opening up for her imagination to experience! How exciting!
Go Meera!
Go Meera!! What a wonderful time! I volunteered while at college, walking up to a local elementary school and listening to struggling readers — while I hated those books about “Biff and Chip” it was so profound to see improvements each week and to bond with those kids, and to literally see a child who was a Refugee, pick up English within a matter of a weeks and gain so much confidence!
