Hi My Dear Blog Readers,
Well, you all sure do know how to cheer up a girl. Thank you very much for your very uplifting comments to my last post. Honest to God: I did not post it in order to fish for pep talks. I swear, I truly didn’t. But my goodness gracious, you all definitely have picked me up when I was down.
I know I often make it seem like life comes easy for me (that is a blessing and a curse of my personality that I’ve always lived with). But let me assure you: life doesn’t come any easier for me than for anyone else. I have my fair share of bumps in the road. But one thing I’m good at is keepin’ on keeping on, with a smile on my face that is (for the most part, most of the time) genuine. I am always one to plow right through it (even when I just want to crawl up in a ball and hide). So, don’t worry about me. But, for real, thank you sincerely for your words of support.

Your lovely warm smiles brightened my day today as years of following your blog has made you all feel like my cyber family (it sounded silly to me too but the blogger-blog reader relationship is hard to define). I am so glad that you find some reward from the genuine love and well wishes of your readers, as you give us all so much each time you upload a post.
I am a long time reader as well, also with a 5 year old daughter adopted from Ethiopia. I love your blog and especially love the travel and birthday posts –even though i do get a bit sad that i can’t throw such grand parties for her. Oh that tea party looked so delightful!
I am looking forward to reading about her 5th birthday party!

But for now, good on you for how you are handling with such grace on the blog (I so respect that — I do know how easy it is to let it all out on a blog as if you are talking to your partner or girlfriends but as you know that is not helpful to say the least).
I absolutely love love love this photo of you and the kids — it would be wonderful framed and I’m sure it’s a Grandparents’ keeper!! So so glad you are planning the very best summer of their lives ~~ and knowing the glimpses of you through this blog I have no doubt you will manage it ~~ Kyle, Owen and Meera congratulations on finishing School — whoo hoo!!!!!
